Honors Saving Club

In 1996, the Board of Directors of CharterBank introduced the HONORS SAVINGS CLUB for students at local area high schools. The HONORS SAVINGS CLUB is open to students in the 9th grade and above who make all A's for the semester. The purpose of the Club is to promote academic excellence. Students have the potential of earning $1,500 during the four years of high school just by making A's! The awards for which students are eligible for are listed below:

  • 9th grade students making all "A's" for the semester will earn $25.00.
  • 10th grade students making all "A's" for the semester will earn $50.00.
  • 11th grade students making all "A's" for the semester will earn $75.00.
  • 12th grade students making all "A's" for the semester will earn $100.00.

Each semester that the student earns all A's will receive an Honors Savings Club certificate from CharterBank. Once the student receives his or her certificate, they simply take it to the CharterBank location shown on the certificate to open an account (either checking or savings). Once the account is opened, the student will take additional certificates to CharterBank so that the amount can be credited to their account.

There is also a bonus opportunity of $1,000! If the student makes all A's for all four years of high school, they will receive a $500 bonus. If the student is also the class Valedictorian, they also receive an additional $500 bonus upon graduation.
